IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION (JAN LOCKDOWN UPDATE):
‘Routine’ small animal surgery (including routine neutering, non urgent dentistry/surgery, lump removal etc.) has paused again. Some procedures are being done if needed for medical reasons. Please call to discuss your pets routine procedure.
Farm work is continuing as we are advised to but again if you attend the practice PLEASE adhere to our rules.
Anyone attending the surgery MUST phone us from your vehicle/outside on arrival and await instructions. Where possible we will be examining your pet alone and undertaking a telephone conversation with you whilst in your vehicle.
This includes food and medication collections - please phone us on your arrival and we will instruct you accordingly.
Please DO NOT enter the surgery unless instructed to do so.
In the event of you needing to enter the building we must insist stringent hand washing/sanitising measures are met on entry and on leaving. Hand sanitisers are on reception. Please maintain the 2m social distance at ALL times.
We are continuing with our regular and more stringent hygiene and cleaning during and between all work.
We MUST encourage all payments where possible to made over the phone to avoid all contact.
Please may we remind you NOT to attend the practice if you are in self isolation OR are displaying ANY of the symptoms of COVID-19 laid out by the Government. If your pet requires treatment and you fall into these categories please PHONE for advice.
Please work with us to protect our community and our wider country, and please be assured if your pet requires urgent or emergency treatment WE WILL BE HERE!
We will be offering phone consultations to maintain social distancing measures. These consultations will be chargeable with payment taken over the phone at the end. You can now also request a home video consultation with one of our vets for a reduced consultation fee.
Please note many of you will still be receiving vaccination reminders in the coming weeks because of the automatic notification system we have. Due to recent lockdown conditions we are currently pausing routine vaccinations. We are contacting clients who a most overdue to offer them priority appointments in our vaccination clinics.
